Nestled high on Uluwatu's cliffs, Plenilunio Villa became the stage for Matt and Martini's intimate celebration, a wedding where KIAR DECOR's masterful lighting transformed the villa's traditional Javanese-Balinese architecture into a canvas of warmth and romance.
The Venue
Plenilunio Villa is one of Bali's best-kept secrets, a sprawling estate that combines traditional Javanese joglo architecture with contemporary luxury. For Matt and Martini, it was love at first sight. The villa's ornate wooden pavilions, infinity pool, and panoramic ocean views provided a setting that needed little embellishment.
Working closely with KIAR DECOR, our design philosophy was to let the architecture speak. We added touches of white roses, trailing greenery, and hundreds of candles to enhance, never compete with, the villa's natural grandeur. KIAR's lighting design bathed the carved teak beams in warm amber, creating an atmosphere of living heritage.
The Celebration
The ceremony was held in the villa's main pavilion, where hand-carved teak columns framed the couple as they exchanged vows beneath a canopy of fairy lights installed by KIAR DECOR. As evening fell, the reception moved to the garden terrace, where lanterns and string lights created a warm, magical glow against the darkening ocean sky.
A live acoustic duo played throughout dinner, their melodies drifting across the cliff and out to sea, the perfect soundtrack for an unforgettable evening at one of Bali's most architecturally significant private estates.
"Plenilunio felt like stepping into a dream. Fortune Bali and KIAR DECOR enhanced every natural element of the villa to create something truly magical."
